Newsreader

An application used to read the articles posted to USENET newsgroups.

There are two kinds of newsreaders; threaded newsreaders group the newsgroup posts into threads of related articles, while unthreaded newsreaders just present the articles in their original order of posting. Of the two types, threaded newsreaders are much more convenient to use.
